Matty V says we're close to announcing a 3-game series with Colorado. Also, we may visit Camp Randall in 2013.

Personally, these are the two best non conference games I could hope for. One of my UM pals now goes to school in Madison and one of Mrs. Sleepy Sheep's best friends went to CU. Spare bedrooms here-we-come!

Any news that includes teams like Colorado and Wisconsin for the football schedule is GREAT news!

Became a Colorado fan in 1989. Became a UMass fan in 1992. Been waiting a long time for this one!

The amount of awesome that this is can barely be explained by saying that this is awesome.

So what are we at now for future non conference games? Does anyone have anything in list form?

OK.... I heard some information that got me excited.... The person I got the info from usually knows what is going on with UMass football and he was pretty confident with this information.

He said UMass will be having a three game series with Notre Dame. Three and four years from now, UMass will be in South Bend and the fifth year Notre Dame is coming to us. I am assuming Gillette.

It was a quick exchange in a local convenient store but I have gotten information from him before and he has been right on. He said the person he heard it from said it was pretty much a done deal.

I am sorry I don't have a link to back up my story but I figured the rumor is worth talking about.
