This was on the FB Blog today. Looks like Victor don't think he will be with the Giants next year.

Should be interesting to see where he ends up. Pats might take a look at him. Also wouldn't be surprised if the Jets were interested.

He'll obviously be taking a pay cut wherever he goes.

Weird to think I was playing against him in high school 13 years ago.
Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)

The announcers (Troy Aikman maybe?) had some nice things to say about Victor at the end of that game with some good facetime on the sideline.
Would look good in Foxboro next year

^

They talked about his as if he was retiring... it was kinda strange. But a big "undrafted out of UMass" mention, which was nice to hear.
Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades

Vic has been quoted as saying he wants to retire as a Giant. Can’t see him switching to the Jets.....

It's been obvious Vic is being eased out of the Giants offensive plans. They have a number of young, good receivers and it's possible he just can't get open like he did prior to the injuries. In any event he is a quality individual and I believe he will do well in whatever comes next for him. My personal hope is that if possible, he continues to work hard , continues the rehab and returns to the Giants and contributes for at least another year.

Well, in yesterday's loss, Victor had 8 receptions, second on the team to OBJ.

It'll be real interesting to see what the market is for Victor this offseason. He's a smart dude who works hard but clearly not the same guy after coming back from that brutal Patellar injury. Very few athletes even come back from that injury and the one's that do usually dont last long. That said, Cruz had a decent year as a 3rd/4th option on a talented offense so he'll definitely get a 1 year deal from someone.

Just released by the Giants per NFL Network.

I'm sure he'll catch on somewhere on a 1 year deal - crazy how injuries just totally derailed his career.

Considering he's been fighting injuries literally since his first training camp, I think his career has been pretty successful.

Tough to see him leave the Giants, but I'm excited to see where he'll end up.

Will they try to resign him at a budget price?

I don't know how to post it but, there is a wonderful article about Victor in today's NY Times sports section by Bill Pennington. The heading on the article is, Giants turn the page on Cruz's storybook career. I hope someone will know how to post it here.
