If this team only wins 2 games including NONE against an FBS opponent this season, how exactly to you get excited about what is coming next year?

You don't, or rather, I wouldn't but maybe some would. Winning zero FBS games in year 3 of Don Brown would be an abject failure. In my opinion, winning only 1 FBS game would still be a failure, and I'm sticking with a 4-win low bar to define a successful season for this team.

I guess I am numb to it all now........my son is picking out colleges (all P4) so I'm good I guess. I donated $$$$ blah blah blah but it's just hard to believe as shitty as UMass was in 2012, it really hasn't progressed. I don't care: it was great watching us on ESPN and the ACC and SEC and Big 10 networks last year though.

Your kid is still choosing a college? Feel like we have been on this journey for years!!!! He better pick an SEC school and we can do a umasshoops field trip to a game.
