I know we scored, but burned a lot of clock with mostly running plays on that last drive. And the onside kick was odd

a game we should have won. Don Brown has to be put in the idiot category today for that onside kick..

38 points on 267 yards of total offense. Almost impossible against any team other than Umass.. Umass dominated all the stats except the one that matters the most.

Meanwhile Northern Illinois upsets #5 Notre Dame.
Glad the MAC hasn't rescinded their invitation.

That interception was a horrendous throw by Puma. Then our defense decided to go to sleep on the next play and that was the end. You figure Don being a hard nosed guy could get our team to play smart football. I see stupid mental mistakes from this team every week.

Never expected a win. So happy we kept it close and was in it most of the game. Those explosive plays are a thorn in our side. Thought both sides of the ball improved and we made 2 field goals. Still improvement needs to happen. Road games are tough but think we can win over Buffalo. Don't know about UConn.

Some signs of encouragement in the 1st half; couldn’t sustain it in the 2nd half…. 0-2, on to Buffalo

Things that jump out… giving up a kick return TD while you’re still celebrating your own score; taking your time with little regard to the time on the clock during the scoring drive preceding the ill advised onside kick; overall, pretty good game for Puma, but still slow to react at times to pressure in the pocket ….he looked much better this week and left it all out on the field

Looking at the MAC scores today... the MAC doesn't suck at football.

To call it "odd" is to be very kind. Three minutes and change left in the game!

I wouldn’t want to depend on the UM defense either…….2 personal fouls on 1 play!!

On the positive side I think the team is talented enough to win games.

On the negative side I think there are serious questions about the coaching decisions-substitutions on defense when the opposition is in the hurry up like last week or onside kicking with four timeouts and the two minute timeout like this week.

I’m more optimistic now about Buffalo than I was when I woke up this morning so I guess that’s good.

Leave the A-10!

I believe we have enough talent to win, if we can cut down on unforced errors and bad coaching decisions.
