I couldn't figure out how to delete a post.
The delete option was there but said I had no authority.

Beggars can't be choosers and I'm just thankful that there is any coverage at all. I'll take flo sports and all their technical difficulties over having no options whatsoever.

That UNH playoff game was easily the craziest scene I’ve personally witnessed at McGuirk. Every seat taken, standing room used along the fences, fights between UMass and UNH fans in the stands, people urinating at the top of the stadium, people rushing in early to get good seats, insane tailgate before the game (even though it was chilly).
Re: 2021 Season
There is more than a little something to be said for regional rivalries, not random FBS games.
I was there for the beat down of BC by UMASS in 1972 - a glorious event.

Feeling entitled is JUST a feeling...

Also a massive post-game traffic jam with everybody trying to get over to the Mullins for the hoops game vs. BC.UMass02 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 11:19 amThat UNH playoff game was easily the craziest scene I’ve personally witnessed at McGuirk. I was also there for that game with a Holy Cross grad. A very good UMass team beat a mediocre BC team but I'll take any beat down of BC. My friend had his hopes up for HC's game against BC the following week. It was not to be - BC won by around 30.
Re: 2021 Season
It was an amazing atmosphere. We walked in with a couple 30 racks and security didn’t care. What a fun game and season that was.
Re: 2021 Season
No question, the best crowds ever were the BC win in '72 and the UNH game in '06. You'd almost think we were a rabid college football school.

I was there for both games.
Re: 2021 Season
I think the 1972 game came during Thanksgiving weekend - but I may be mistaken

Just had a new RB coached named--WTF happened to the Savon Huggins! It looked like he was doing a great job. Did he get another job or get fired? He was only here six months. He was just twittering about UMass football a couple of weeks ago...

24/7 says that it isn't BC--maybe Rutgers? Why can't someone take Bell!
