If any of you were around UMass back in the early to mid 70's, there used to be a decnt restaurant and bar at the top of the Campus Center (They called it the TOC - Top of the Campus). It closed in late 70's or so.
.
Around the same time period, they ran a sub shop in the basement of McNamara which satisfied many a late night munchie attack. Don't imagine that's still there.............. ah the good old days.

And Hanna Montana tickets are going for hundreds of dollars... doesn't mean it is good.
But Hanna Montana is good IV.

Found another good reason to go to The Harp postgame. They're now doing a 7$ buffet after every UMass hockey and basketball game.

When you go to the game, make sure you park across the street in the heated garage, and take the personal monorail line over Commonwealth Avenue, which will take to directly your seat.

Another Amherst area institution bites the dust. The Aqua Vitae in Hadley is closing on March 2nd. Some love the place, some hate it, but I'm in the former category. Good pizza, good eggplant parm, good salad, great homemade eggrolls. It will be missed.

There is still a place to get food in McNamara's Basement, and I think you can get subs there.
