You must not have followed UMass football the past few years. Georgia Southern was UMass' opponent in the 1998 championship game.
I think he's referring to an obscure moment from our past when Georgia Southern College rednecks invaded the board with a "who is UMass?" theme.

I'm glad you said "rednecks" and not me. I don't want to offend those gummy mouthed inbreeds.

2 of Florida's 3 losses have come against our opponents (FSU and Miami).

And on a related note: Holy Cross has played 5 of our opponents (BU, Fordham, BC, NEastern, Rhody) and only lost to BC (in overtime). Three of the four wins were on the road.

Another noteworthy item on rankings. This one's based on the Sagarins.

Our Sagarin rating yesterday was 138. We're 1-1 versus their Top 30 (sled dogs and Gonzaga). (BC is currently 31.) Only one other team ranked below us has a Top 30 win, #188 Santa Clara beat UNC on 11/19.

Chimelis reported that UMass had the 9th toughest schedule in the country. So, I guess that makes it 5-1 against the easy part and 1-3 against the hard.

It does both. We call it "multitasking".

Is there room on the BC bandwagon for any defecting fans from this program?? Where do we get those yellow t-shirts?

I despise BC but can definately appreciate them kicking Mumble's ass.
Retarded artistically. Idiotic in other respects.

Screw BC. They can rot in hell. I'm jumping on the Williams College bandwagon.
