TAKE A BREAK

Post by MikeUMA » Mon Mar 15, 2004 10:07 pm

Now hear this...

The announcement has been made that Lappas will be back next year. If you're pleased, you're probably smart enough that it's not a gloating kind of situation. If you're pissed, I don't care. I've had enough of the tirades about the coaching situation.

If you must discuss it, use the original thread about the announcement
<a href="http://umasshoops.com/board/viewtopic.p ... php?t=2001[/u]</a>.

No more discussion that throws gas on the flames again, posts like that will be deleted. Please respect this decision. Thank you.

Thanks Mike. If someone has something NEW to add I would like to hear
it. But like you I've grown weary of same old rants, even if some are correct.

Mike- maybe an off-track type of question, but now that the announcement has been made, will you be trekking north next season for a bunch more games than you did last year?

Some of us have been fans talking about UMass basketball all along.

Admittedly, I was lazy this season, but the team's performance certainly didn't help entice me for the 100 mile drive. I will almost certainly go to the UConn and BC games next season. I'll also be trekking south and catch the team in the USVI.

I hope we keep the CCSU game. I like catching the game then hitting the tables at Mohegan.

I'm also going to try to plan some kind of gathering for the UMassHoops.com users, maybe rent out the 3rd floor room overlooking the court before a weekend game.

Just as I was getting used to the negativity and not posting Mike is gonna change the rules and make the board interesting again. Mike why not one of those great Italian Restaurants after the Fordham game at Fordham. Positive, supportive topics about UMass Athletics; any bets on how long that lasts. Twelve hours
