Then why doesn't he go for 2 for 1's at the end of the first half when it's available? 50-60 seconds left on the clock when UMass gets the ball and we never try for a quick score so that we can get the ball back again.

Also, someone mentioned Jayden’s foul with 4.6 seconds being a bad foul…it was done on purpose
I thought they fouled a little too early - guy wasn't even across half court yet - under 3 seconds would have been ideal
????????????????

2 seconds later he would have been in scoring position

Basketball players can go a long distance in 2 seconds

It was a great foul imo, no need to take chances, I like that Frank Martin is in favor of the philosophy of fouling when you’re up 3, especially if it’s a 1 and 1
First of all I never said 2 seconds later - and it was not 1 and 1, we had 10 fouls so it was 2 shots - I was there - Jayden fouled him just outside the UMass 3 point line - no way in hell that kid gets in "scoring range" in less than 2 seconds! I said foul just under 3 - not just over 2 - I'm talking right around 3...if that kid hit that WIDE open 3 last night all of you guys would be complaining that we fouled too early...just go back to your comments about the Davidson game - we fouled with no time on the clock for crying out loud and you were complaining.

That guy may have gotten about 30 feet closer in 2 seconds but it would have been rushed and it still would have been a 30 footer - out of control - I'll take my chances

I think Frank Martin has earned a tiny bit more than "Math Teacher" but I thank God for the Math Teachers. Not getting into politics, I prefer teachers to basketball coaches and won't discuss it.

That said, Frank is the coach. He has a better view.

Uhhh I mean, we don’t need a calculator to know that from 4.6 seconds to 2.9 that is 1.7 seconds. Anyone would round that up to 2 seconds.

The foul occurred on the Fordham half of the court, about 12 ft from where the kid could’ve taken a normal jump shot
