I belatedly discovered tonight's Hofstra-S.Florida game on MSG3, which my cable provider has sometimes. Watched most of the 2nd half. At the half, the announcers said Hofstra went up double digits early and shot 50% on 3s and 60% overall, while S.Florida shot poorly. S. Florida looked like a lot of big, athletic wings with a couple true bigs. None of them looked like they could shoot, with an offense showing little ball movement. Hofstra was up 20 coming out of the half and made it 30 minutes later. I didn't learn much about the Bulls. Late in the game, they did a lot of drive and dish and began making shots, cutting the lead to teens. but it was too little too late. Bulls played 10 guys, and all except the bigs were chucking up and missing 3s. Also missed most of their FTs and quite a few lay ups. Announcers said Bulls were mostly transfers, experienced older players, but didn't know how to play together yet. They played hard, but Hofstra ran offense sets they couldn't handle and shot lights out.
