St Francis...
Pretty sad, but I'd imagine some players will look to go elsewhere.

^^ Already 10 players in the portal.
Re: St Francis...
I think we will see more and more of this with smaller private schools who are having an increasingly more difficult time attracting students.
Re: St Francis...
Very sad. Feel badly for all student athletes that attend there.

Re: St Francis...
1 of 4 schools to never make the NCAA tournament. They never excelled in the NEC and I've never heard of any St. Francis alums in the Brooklyn area. It makes sense financially and I do think we'll see more schools in this position. However, on a positive note, this also gives more schools the opportunity to jump from D2 to D1.
Re: St Francis...
The whole team is in the portal. They have a couple of OK players, but nobody that would have a major impact.
Re: St Francis...
Any of their starters would be an upgrade from BM....... Sorry I had to.

Re: St Francis...
Yes. He averaged around 12 points and 7.5 rebounds in his 2 years there. He also had the best inbounds play I have ever seen at UMass.PreecherJenkins wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 2:30 pm is this where Unique finished up his playing career?
