Hunh, he's all but coming out and saying that DD is leaving because he can get better NIL deals elsewhere.

Even 10k would make his life a lot easier while getting a graduate degree at a name brand p5 university. They put a lot of years into hoop and come out with an education and no debt. I can see why they take chances to try and level up. I just hope it all works out.

Pretty sure he had an existing 5 figure deal with UMass. If his dad is talking about money to change he and his family’s life, I’d guess that’s around 100k. I’d be surprised if that’s out there for him.

Or maybe it’s not just money. Maybe another coach plays him more and sets him up to play professionally overseas.

I just want to clarify some things. Graduating from Umass was the plan when coach Martin got there, but as you guys know college basketball has changed there’s opportunities out there for Dyondre to help himself and more importantly his family! I believe that’s any kids dream!
