This game could do a lot for us in seeding for the A10 tourney. There's a long way to go but 6 teams are currently at 4-5 in the conference. Here are the head to head stats.
Daniel Frank
We have now a SIX-way tie for 7th place.

Here’s the mini group standings break down:
3-1 UMass
2-1 Saint Jospeh’s
2-1 Mason
2-2 Richmond
2-2 Duquesne
0-4 URI

I’ll be there with the wife and kids. We hit the GW, VCU, GMU trifecta this year. They owe us a W! We’ll be in 102. They sell cold ones too. Good stuff

Gotta get off the schneid and win an A10 road game. George Mason probably feels like this is a must win too. I sure hope Cross and Noah can play and nobody else is hit with the injury bug.

Mason currently favored by 4. Can't say I am surprised, but that is a lot of point to give up on the road for a team of roughly equal results to date.

If Wildens is on his game and keeps out of foul trouble, we take this one.

Mason has solid, experienced guards but they shouldn't overwhelm us. Our perimeter D has been pretty spotty this year, but I don't see their guards taking over.

Bailey's pretty good, and if Cross isn't ready, that would be a big test for RJ. Speaking of which, what's the injury report?

To anyone attending, a couple of us DC folk will be meeting up at Oh George! Tables and Taphouse across the street from the arena before the game. Goal is 5:30ish for an hour but will depend on traffic. Go U....

You are right about Wildens being key. Oduro (6'9) is their best player, averaging 18/10. We can't let him control the paint.

Zero buzz for this game. The preview isn't even on the front page of the Gazette's website. You have to dig to find it, and even then it's just a quick preview. https://www.gazettenet.com/UMass-basket ... k-49756353

This is a huge game if we want to be a top-half team. Road wins are tough, and our record vs GMU is abysmal, although better over the last couple years. We turned the calendar to February...it's go time.

For viewing, I think so. But don't forget you can listen on the radio if you don't like the GMU announcers.

I'm not one of those types... the stream on the tv will be just fine.

Correct. No traditional TV.
