RJ Luis will average over 20 ppg one year in the A10.

He is being more defensive minded tonight and as a result I think that increases his confidence on the offensive end.
I beg to differ, his shot selection is terrible, he needs to tone it down. He’s also blown his defensive assignments a few times leading to open shots for UR, such as at the end of the half.
I thought that he wasn’t bringing much value in the last couple of games, looking a bit lost, where the game is still very quick for him. But today he looks comfortable, a couple of solid blocks, took a charge, created some fouls. He’s such a raw and new player to the game, I don’t need box score numbers, I’ll take small progress and confidence with him.
Gapare leaves his man for open 3.

^Check out my post prior to the Gapare discussion. I said that our weakness is getting lost on the defensive end leaving 1 player on the opposing end completely open. It’s a team issue that needs to be fixed.

Who’s our best player when Noah is out? Cross or Luis?

A lot of fouls this game… We better be ready to hit some free throws if we want to win. A big question mark this season

Not in that case. He left his man (their best player) to stand in the middle of the lane and couldn’t get out to defend the 3. There’s a reason he has hardly played this half.

Regardless of the result I think there are some good things we can take away from this game. But really would like a win.

Diggins finding his confidence is the biggest thing for me. Really excited to see him at UMass for the next 3 years - will be our future PG after Noah leaves.

Let’s get this win

Shorter rotation produces better results. Who knew.
