RJ Luis will average over 20 ppg one year in the A10.

Gapare leaves his man for open 3.inthescoop wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 8:10 pmI thought that he wasn’t bringing much value in the last couple of games, looking a bit lost, where the game is still very quick for him. But today he looks comfortable, a couple of solid blocks, took a charge, created some fouls. He’s such a raw and new player to the game, I don’t need box score numbers, I’ll take small progress and confidence with him.NilesGold wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 7:56 pmI beg to differ, his shot selection is terrible, he needs to tone it down. He’s also blown his defensive assignments a few times leading to open shots for UR, such as at the end of the half.inthescoop wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 7:54 pm Despite Gapare being 0 for 5, every single one of his shots has been in and out and I think that this is his best game in a long time thus far, the shots will come. He is being more defensive minded tonight and as a result I think that increases his confidence on the offensive end.

^Check out my post prior to the Gapare discussion. I said that our weakness is getting lost on the defensive end leaving 1 player on the opposing end completely open. It’s a team issue that needs to be fixed.

Who’s our best player when Noah is out? Cross or Luis?

A lot of fouls this game… We better be ready to hit some free throws if we want to win. A big question mark this season
Re: Game 20, 2022-23: Richmond (1/24)
Not in that case. He left his man (their best player) to stand in the middle of the lane and couldn’t get out to defend the 3. There’s a reason he has hardly played this half.inthescoop wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 8:27 pm ^Check out my post prior to the Gapare discussion. Regardless of the result I think there are some good things we can take away from this game. But really would like a win.

Diggins finding his confidence is the biggest thing for me. Really excited to see him at UMass for the next 3 years - will be our future PG after Noah leaves.
Let’s get this win

Love to end a game on a 12-0 run
