First 4 minutes of this half will dictate the outcome. Need to start strong with the best lineup.

Terrible basketball IQ to take a terrible fadeaway with 8 seconds left when you could have easily had the last shot of the half. We got lucky and VCU missed a good look three at the end of the half. If I was a coach I would be irate right there.

Very very very hard to win when you’re shooting 10% from the field.

Don’t know what’s worse hulk Martin or emotionless silent Martin sitting the entire half

I thought the first 15 minutes of the first half was one of the best of the season, but then all down hill from there. Need to win at St Joes Saturday.

Welp this has been a train wreck of a second half across the board…on both ends of the floor…on the bench. Just ugly.

Also, VCU is pretty good. They do what they do and they do it well. Tough ask to win on the road without two of our better players. That said, no one has done themselves any favors here.

This team is not playing in any post season beyond the conference tourney.

A good first half completely wiped out by an all time embarrassment from all involved. No shame in losing to VCU in their gym, normally, but this was not normal. I predicted that this would happen, so I blame myself for even tuning in and watching.

Should I say anything about lineups? Nah, fuck it. It's all been said.

You are so right!! We all knew we weren’t winning this game, but the way in which they literally fell off a cliff in the second half is alarming.

Not really able to scrape up many positives for this one. Some flashes of improvement from Diggins and Gianni looks less lost out there. It wasn't a likely win and at least we didn't play Noah and RJ and let them get more injured.

Let's just hope we can win the next one on the road and then get ourselves back on track at home.

As DrJ said, the best thing about this game is we kept Noah and RJ out and hope they'll be ready to go for SJU. We weren't going to win this one even with them. A 1-1 road trip will be OK. Other than looking like a DIII team for the last 22 minutes, it doesn't really matter if we lost by 10 or 30. We bounced back pretty well after the LaSalle embarrassment so let's see if we can do it again.
