Those weren't VCU announcers, they were national (maybe A10 specific) for NBC... they commented on how they did other UMass games, including the Rutgers game last year.

^ True, but it also felt to me like they were pro-VCU.

^Shoot, I almost became pro-VCU from that game due to their great fan support/athletic and well coached team/dance team! It beats a half empty building with quite fans/Grumpy Gus coach. :(

No disagreement there, it was a tad slanted. "And what I mean by that..."... man, that was annoying all 9000 times we heard him say it!

I just mute it and listen to Jay, although sometimes there is a 15 second delay.

I generally like listening to other team's/national announcers to get a different perspective, but there's no denying some can be very annoying.

We've certainly been lucky with some of the folks we've had in both PxP and CC over the years.

15 second delay between the announcer and what you're watching??? That would drive me nuts

If you listen to the radio feed on the Varsity app, you can pause the feed and sync it up with video.

I don't mind knowing 5 seconds ahead of time what's going to happen, but 15 seconds makes me crazy. I do use the time delay button now.

I don't like to brag, but I can tell you the score of the game before it starts.
