At some point this season these second chance shots that keep missing will hopefully start to drop in.

Considering we are missing our most productive player and our most productive freshman, and playing with only three guards, we look ok today so far.

I hope to not see this ref crew for the rest of the season. 40+ fouls and brutal to watch. Zero flow in the 2nd half

Really nice team effort. Great job by Cross, DD and Leveque. Excellent job by the point guards to keep everything under control.

Got home in time to watch the last 10 min. What was with Noah today?

Nice improvement from Diggins today. I hope it gave him some confidence moving forward.

Keon looked better too and Weeks came to life in the second half.

Thank God for Matt Cross and DD! Wildens was a huge contributor on D!

This looked more like what Cal and DK used to call "UMASS BASKETBALL!!!"

Bring on VCU!!! Sure hope that Fernandes and RJ are back for the next game but winning without them against a rival has calmed my nerves a bit.

Nice effort down two key players. Defense was better, turnovers weren’t an issue, won by ten while shooting under 40%.

Cross just scraps man. Leveque makes a difference on defense when he is out there. Dyondre was active and nice for the young point guards to see the ball go in.

At some point these layups need to start falling though if we want to beat some of the better conference teams.

Much needed win after a disappointing stretch. Let’s hope it carries over though.

Good win considering what we were missing. The offensive Cross is back. Great game. Diggens and Thompson both played well which was a must. Dominguez got the minutes and took advantage. Been hard on B Martin but it has never been about his hustle and want. He is just offensively challenged. Tonight he took the shots he had to. Dare I say effected the game positively

Agreed. Keon and Diggins dug in and got the job done. Good to see them both play aggressively and run the offense with Noah out. Wildens was huge today, I think 4 blocks and just more aggressive. Very nice win with Noah and RJ out. Great effort guys

think his ankle was not good. Keon and Rahsool filled in surprisingly well.

Still at the pillow fight level in the A10 standings, but at least there's a chance now.

They called nothing in the first half and then called everything, including phantom calls, in the second half.

Great day for UMass Basketball…. Men and Women! I think the shortened rotation due to the two guys out actually helped the guys that played get into a rhythm and stay there, without worrying about getting yanked out every 3 or 4 minutes. And yes, it bears mention that BM deserves credit for always giving all that he has with a great attitude, while dealing with the added scrutiny and pressure that comes with the situation here playing for his father. People have thoughts on when or how much he should play, but he plays hard when he’s in there.

Today was a pretty good crowd for the most part, except for the entire end section behind the hoop where the UMass students usually sit…. the rest of the arena looked pretty good; I know the students are gone during break, but there has to be some creative ideas to bring in kids from the surrounding area with reduced price or donated / free tickets…. give them a bag of popcorn and a tee shirt with only 1 condition…. you have to sit in that area behind the hoop and you have to make some noise supporting the team and disrupting our opponents when they shoot free throws in the 2nd half! All in all, today was a day of progress in many areas, and a great day out…. let’s build on it!
