Sloppy with a lot of turnovers and not great in the second half... past teams would have lost by 20.. this team still finds a way to win. Still can get much better.

I did not see the other big guy play tonight. Anyone know why? Boy this team has a lot of talent.

He played a few minutes in the first half.

Frank’s put together a fantastic top to bottom A10 roster. Took care of business tonight, but still so many things to improve on. Very happy to get the win.
Hoping they put on a show Friday night in front of a great UMass crowd.

We play aggressive offensively so I think it was a little struggle playing to run down clock. Got a little sloppy the last 10 min, but they were in control. Nice W
Wildens had a game, Cross was solid, and DD gave some good energy off the bench. 5-1 ain't bad

20 turnovers but still won on the road. Good 3-point shooting saved the game.

Not much to add, but I love it when we can win with DD, RJ and Wildens leading the way. A double double for Wildens shows us what he's capable of.
The oddest stats for me are that Noah and Rashool only took 6 shots between them but they combined for 14 assists. That's team ball.
Got to clean up the turnovers against Harvard.

Kinda sloppy W but nice start after long break. Got to do better on last minute free throws, a lot better!

Second half was a bit of a letdown — that’s two in a row where we haven’t played great with a lead. That said, winning ugly is better than losing ugly.
Halfcourt offense is a bit of a work in progress, the turnovers are piling up and I thought the rebounding was meh. But we continue to play hard, are generally really solid defensively and when we could get out and run is when we took control.
Would just love to see us cut down on the turnovers and figure some things out in the halfcourt on offense.
Nice to talk about the room for improvement while being 5-1.
Individually TJ played one of his more complete offensive games, DD had that great stretch in the first half, Wildens was active, RJ is fearless in a mostly good way.
I think Cross and Diggins are still feeling their way around out there offensively but they make plays where you just see IT. For Cross it was a couple of takes to the hoop. For Diggins it was a couple of passes.

All road wins are good. I am concerned however, with our half court offense. Stagnant unable to get ball inside for post points or kick outs for open 3’s. Its a decent half court offense that you need to close games out.

I heard that Fernandes had wrist surgery this summer so that could be one of his problems.

Watching Frank coach is worth the price of admission. He is quick to sub someone out after a mistake and you will hear it from him on the bench.

From the "never thought I'd see that" department--Dominguez was the leading scorer tonight. Our bench again with 39 points. When so many of last year's players left the team, I thought Frank ran them off. But Dominguez was the outlier that undermined that theory. My new theory is that Frank just told them how he planned to practice and play, and most of them didn't buy it. I think Dominguez and his dad saw that it would be good for him, and it certainly has been.

^ Len, I agree about DD. We all could see that he had talent but he never looked comfortable the last two years. Whatever the coaching staff has done in working with him has done wonders. There's a term called "player development" and this staff understands it. I'm really happy for him.

Does anyone know why Keon Thompson did not play tonight?
