So was Frank a screamer when he took his team to the final four in '17?

Frank was born screaming. My hope is that he follows up with kid later as to what the cause was, and how to remedy.

great win. Noah didn't have a great game and the team committed 16 turnovers, yet still led pretty much all the way. 3 games in 4 days has to be tough on all players. starters played their biggest minutes of the tournament, and depth helped greatly. Defense and rebounding and (for the most part) good shot selection. I'd like to see more kick-outs when double/tripled team down low and on offensive rebounds. You can pass out to Noah, TJ or Matt Cross so why not?
Bringing home the trophy and hopefully they get some well-deserved rest and enjoy Thanksgiving. Something more to be thankful for!

I like the yelling. Guy makes stupid mistakes like Luis did 2 times - shooting early in a shot clock when up 6 and 89 seconds to go and then not grabbing the ball and letting a guy hit it off him. Maybe if you yell the guy you ont make the same stupid mistakes.
GreT to see team win - gritty defense.

Good good stuff. This defense is for real. It feels way better to win 3 games (one against PAC 12, and another against a perennial mid-major tourney team) than it did last year peeing the bed in the Jersey Mike's classic against 250something ranked Ball State.

Yes and yestom mclaughlin wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 3:14 pm They gutted out another Win. Tough team and not easy considering it’s the 3rd game in 4 days. Frank is a yeller but so were Jack Leaman and John Calipari. If you’re a tough kid you can take it - the end result is if you’re a team player all you care about is winning. Go UMass! another hard fought win in a tough tournament.

Like everyone else here, I’m very proud of this team and staff… including Coach Martin. We were/ are justified in being excited about this new era in UMass Men’s Basketball. What a day for New England sports fans…. switching back and forth with the Pat’s game! I turned on the radio to catch the post game interviews and had to laugh when they asked TJ Weeks what Frank had to say during a critical time out…. Weeks chuckled and said “he said a lot!” The radio guys chimed in quickly to remind him “ what can be repeated on the radio”!
When they interviewed Coach Martin, he expressed how proud he was of the guys, and how hard they have worked… he also mentioned that he has 3 more talented guys that he has to incorporate into the mix, including Gaspare…. the highly rated player from New Zealand. We have much to look forward to with this new regime…. as far as the home court crowd is concerned, Build it and they will come! Go UMass!

I’ve been checking to see who made the all-tournament team, with no luck.
Do any of you know whether any UMass players made it in addition to Noah?

The 5th & 7th place games haven't finished yet so I imagine that won't be announced until the conclusion of the tournament.

^ Ooops…forgot about that. If it’s not UMass, I’m generally not interested…
Edit: just saw on Instagram that Matt Cross and Noah are on all the all-tournament team.

That’s awesome. Cross is a big time player.
