He was also asked about the improvement from the Towson game to this game. He said something to the effect of not having the energy or focus needed for the Towson game. Not to pick out something negative in such a great win. But how could game #2 against such a quality opponent at home, be something they couldn't get up for? Hopefully that's just an early season kink that they work out.

^ Could it be that they took Towson lightly…as opposed to not getting up for it?

If the takeaway is the realization that they cannot take anyone lightly, then it was a good loss.

Colorado is taking Texas A&M to the woodshed, so I like yesterday's win even more now :)

To say Colorado’s season is a Roller Coaster so far would be a major understatement .

Colorado has scored:

82
74
78
63
103

While we're also tied for the season low in scoring against them, it's nice to have held them to 11 points lower than their next lowest score.

Colorado smoking A&M has moved the line in the upcoming game all the way to Umass -2.5

Not going to start a "umass oponnents" thread because we are no where near a NCAA Tournament birth. Plus it's Chris20's job. Where'd he go?

But Colorado lost to 1-13 CAL on NYE. They are 9-6 and 1-3 in Pac-12 play so far. Not taking away from the excitement of the early season W, but they are not going to be a good team.

A&M beat Florida on the road last night, so maybe they'll start to turn a corner.

Tulsa is 4-10 (which makes that W over Loyola-Chicago that much more headscratching.

Speaking of, they are 6-8 and have lost their first 2 A-10 games to Davidson and GW. Maybe they just aren't that good this year.

Charlotte has kept it going at 11-3. They could have a nice season.

Boise turned it around and is 11-4.

Murray State is 9-6, but is 4-1 in their first year in the MVC so far.
