Lots of work ahead.

Where’s the band? Seems like a very small student crowd. Long weekend due to Veterans Day?

Towson is a tournament team. Tonight sucked but I’m still excited to see what we do next week. Towson is probably better than Colorado.

They clearly didn’t play very well and weren’t very good at either end. Martin is coaching like a guy trying to figure out his team and his players. Gonna take some time.

We’ll be fine long term. Glad we have a week before our next game. We have three winnable games next weekend and that’s plenty of time for Frank and co to figure some things out.

Frank gave this game away to make a point. First half we passed around perimeter and would not drive into the paint or pass into the paint. Then clearly Frank scared them into driving everything into the paint or forcing passes into the point. They appeared AFRAID TO SHOOT. Several times Fernandes and Cross gave up open shots. Guys we need to shoot. He at one point Frank had 4 forwards, 4 non shooters on the floor. WTH??

Frank gave the game away? He threw the game? What does that line mean?

I thought this too, but was left wondering what's the point?

Towson is good, but not that good. Wildens didn't look good, and the other 4 starters shot 1 for 26. About the same % as you get shooting with your eyes closed.

Re: what Frank m said in post game interview. He said nobody played well. That we were beat in every facet of the game. When 105.5 hosts gave some praise to Kante, Frank downplayed it. Ditto for Matt Cross. His big explanation is that tonite's performance followed on and was consistent with 4 days of lousy bball by his players (practice?) Not sure if that means he counted the CCSU game as lousy too. One decent thing he said is that he wasn't hired for a one and done, but for a season. The implication being let's look ahead. He said there'd be some hard practices and game film viewing this weekend. That's all I got from it as the person I was driving home with was talking during the interview.

Thought we got out toughed tonight, came out very flat, and couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. And as shitty as we looked, could have still won this if we hit free throws and made even a decent % of those short inside shots. Defense forced a bunch of turnovers in the 2nd half, but couldn't capitalize.

It was a tough one, Towson was good. I thought the team was really playing hard but it was one of those games that nothing really worked. They'll bounce back
