Bad officiating. Bad play for UMass players and bad coaching by UMass. No way to overcome all 3.

Cant point all negatives without acknowledging Cross and his immense effort! He was impressive but thats it.

Of the 3 losses this season so far, this one was hard to swallow….they’ve gotten away from what they we’re doing earlier

Tremendous effort by the team.

Your playing a team that you know going in,likes to play slow grind out games. Why play their game, why not press and try to take them out of their game by speeding things up. Never pressed.

Careless turnovers and missed free throws won’t help either

Gross game. Congrats to the referees for getting their quota in and then some.
My only other comment is Matt Cross is a monster. What an effort. Nobody hustles like that dude. Let's go take our frustrations out on Dartmouth.

FM talked about that in the pre-game. He said pressing them doesn't work because of their excellent ball handlers.

We were outplayed by a lot. They are a rock solid squad that is currently playing well.
They actually only had two players in double figures. We turned the ball over too much and they capitalized. Our backup pointguards are going to have to improve as the season progresses. Right now they should expect to be outclassed against most A10 teams. Getting a healthy Noah back is going to be critical to our success in conference.
Even with Noah, we probably would have lost this game. Our shooting guards didn't offer any offense today. WTF with TJ?? At this stage, we should expect more from him. I wonder if he is fully healthy.
We were ineffective at the 5. Kante and Wildens both having an off day on the same day is Achilles heel number two.
I'm not going bridge jumping, yet, but Frank has issues to deal with and none of them are names Brandon.
Still learning by losing...
