A10 regular season and tournament champion only worthy of a #12 seed. Not good to see.

I never remember the A-10 champion getting seeded this high. Doesn’t say much for the A-10 in the eyes of the basketball world.

No love from the NIT selection committee either. Zero A10 teams in the field. Dayton made an announcement earlier that they wouldn't accept an invite, but who knows if they would have even been selected. Feel bad for Fordham. Had their best season since they've been in the A10 and can't even get in the NIT.

Shocked that no A10 team made the NIT. If Dayton said they would not take a spot I surprised that neither St. Louis or Firdham got a bid. At least we know the Women will make the field as they won the league. Possibly a 1 or 2 seed.

There is always next year and VCU needs to do some damage in the dance. The A10 being down has to stop, can remember always getting 3-4 bids with 2014 us getting the 6th bid. Come on VCU , bring the respect back to the A10.
Go UMass!!

Not a good look for the A10 with no men’s teams chosen for the NIT. Commissioner needs to take heat for this, league has been on a backward slide for a number of years under her leadership. AD’s need to take a serious look at the conference leadership and direction.

UMass needs to get out. There is no reason left to stay in The A10. We screwed up big time by not going all sports in any other conference. None of the original teams are left except UMass. All the other original teams moved on to bigger and better things. Duquesne left and came back.

Yikes. I've been a fan of remaining in the A10, but I can see now that I was dead wrong. This league gets absolutely no respect nationally.

Why did Dayton turn down the NIT bid?

Weak league Nationwide. It will be hard to attract good recruits,, especially considerind where we stand in this league.

Would love to know. They have some young talent that would benefit from the NIT.

And go where?

Seems odd doesn‘t it?

No idea why Dayton said they wouldn’t accept an invite but of Fordham, Saint Louis, Mason, Duquesne snd GW only Duquesne is playing in the post season? WOW!
