Not sure if it has been discussed or not but with the addition of LUC, the A10 tourney schedule is a little different:

Starts Tuesday this year with three games for the 10-16 seeds, Gotta stay out of the Matt McCall/Ryan Bamford invitational

Wednesday 8-9 game, 5,6,7 seeds playing the winners of Tuesday's games

Thursday: 1,2,3,4 seeds play the winners of Thursday's games.

Dark Day Friday- New for 2023. kinda like it from a basketball perspective

Games Saturday- Sunday

The dark day is a good thing... gives any upstarts a chance to rest and makes sure those final four and championship games are competitive.

Also good from a fan perspective... gives fans of teams that advance to Saturday a chance to actually plan to get there. That's more important for the casual fan and can hopefully increase attendance.

Anyone else watching Dayton-VCU. We better be ready for some physical BB when we play these two.

Dayton is up 62-58 with 34 seconds left and they have the ball.

2 steals later.

Final score:
VCU 63
Dayton 62

as I watched the game last night I wondered how UMass could beat either one of these teams - but as the game went on I realized that outside of one player from each team - neither team can score. The announcer mentioned Dayton is without their PG and as we noticed when Noah went down - that makes a huge difference - but if I remember correctly - Dayton struggled early in the year with him. VCU has always played great D but if not for that guy who had 6 3's in the 2nd half - they would have struggled to score 50 points. If those are the top 2 teams in the A-10 this year we have as good a chance as any to win this league.

Dayton's top PG (M. Smith) played in just 4 games and Dayton lost 3 of those, although it wasn't clear if he was 100%. The 3 losses were in a Thanksgiving week tournament vs Wisconsin (lost by 1) , NC State and BYU (overtime). Dayton has also had other injuries. VCU's excellent PG (Ace Baldwin) missed several games including 3 of their 5 losses. Dayton and VCU look like the top of the A10.

Not A10, but worthy of a mention. UConn's financial woes:

What in the Bob Hill is going on at Fordham?! Are they finally meeting the potential he saw some 20 odd years ago?

Btw, check out these Orlando Magic inspired digs they wore under Hill. What a time for uniforms!

Standings are one big cluster F right now, we are tied for 10th at 3-5 but only 2 games out of 4th but we are also 2 games out of last.
