GG "I aint coming to Umass" Jackson maybe should have if he wanted a realistic shot at beating George Washington.

13 games today involving A10 teams with not such great results going 6-7 against fairly mediocre opponents for the most part.

Re: Around the A-10 (2022-23)
Fordham put up 95 on the road for a win against a good Tulane team today. Fordham is now 8-1 with their only loss against #10 ranked Arkansas.
Re: Around the A-10 (2022-23)
Duquesne is off to a good start as well. 7-1 (only loss was against Kentucky) and got a buzzer beater to beat Ball St.

Boston college has now lost to Maine and UNH this season.

One blog ranks UMass number 2 in A10 Power ratings, St. Louis tops. https://bustingbrackets.com/2022/12/06/ ... ankings/8/
Feeling entitled is JUST a feeling...
Re: Around the A-10 (2022-23)
The Net Rankings also have UMass as the second highest ranked team in the A-10
Re: Around the A-10 (2022-23)
and they say St. Louis has a resume-building opportunity with a road game at Iona. Well Iona won that easily in continued bad news for the A10. It looks like the conference season will provide few if any opportunities to build a resume. I watched the halftime interview with Isaac Kante during the Albany game (he's wicked smart by the way) and he talked about the desire to make the NCAAT. Got to be near perfect to make that happen.econalum wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 8:53 am One blog ranks UMass number 2 in A10 Power ratings, St. Louis tops. https://bustingbrackets.com/2022/12/06/ ... ankings/8/
Re: Around the A-10 (2022-23)
The team has to do the opposite of what happened in the DK tournament season, and that is consistently beatinq the top 6 teams in conference.

How are the URI message boards these days? Wondering what they are saying about Archie Miller..

Re: Around the A-10 (2022-23)
VCU loses at home and Dayton gets blown out. Conference is looking worse every night. At this pace, conference play will start with Fordham, Duquesne, and Umass as the top 3 seeds.
Re: Around the A-10 (2022-23)
Big win for Loyola tonight over Clemson. Although this is good the A10 has been so down it won’t move the needle much. I’m actually concerned that two of our teams that have kind of sucked during non conference Loyola and Dayton are gonna get the shit together right on time to do damage in conference.
