Kid can shoot it, thats for sure. Good size at 6-6. Knockdown shooters do wonders for the inside game too. Welcome RD Jr

Sounds like we’ve got an nice group of wings moving who all do a little something different. Think Luis will create a bit, Davis will shoot a bit, and Ndjigue will guard a bit.

Julius V. @JuliusVElite0
Congratulations to 2023 Robert Davis 6’6 SG Southern California Academy on his commitment to UMass. Davis was arguably the best 3 & D guy in the country this past Spring & Summer. He shot the ball extremely efficient from 3. Tough as nails. WINNER

A bit of enthusiasm here from his coach, but....

I'll admit my ignorance on this label, so I looked it up. I like it!!
What Is A 3 and D Player?
As the name itself suggests, 3-and-D players are specialist players that bring two things to their teams, long-range three-point shooting (3) and defense (D). As capable shooters, they stretch the opposition defense, and as versatile defenders, they can switch between defending smaller guards and big men.

I listened to it earlier today. If this is the type of person Frank is bringing in I am all for it. Of course, he needs to produce on the court, but what a classy young man.

Rated a four star and damn near a top 100 recruit, per On3. Awesome stuff. Really excited to see him play next season.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before. When I watch video of him, he seems to have a similar skill set to RJ. He's also about the same size. If he can duplicate what RJ has accomplished, we will have another weapon next year.

We did an interview with him in November, he is very mature and well spoken. Watch here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RMt7DsOwN ... =emb_title

Can't wait to see this kid play. Great attitude and sounds like his skills are just what we need. Looks like an excellent freshman class coming in and transfer portal guys could fill out this roster to make everyone forget last year.
