That's all great, but what was his pizza choice? Let's please keep things in perspective here.
Re: Coach Frank Martin
Sausage and roasted red peppers.

It's Chicken Bacon Ranch. He said it at the end of the last interview that was posted on the twitter feed.

To be honest, I've never had it either. Let us know how it goes. I miss Antonio's, and seeing UMass games in person.
Re: Coach Frank Martin
Have y'all been following Frank on Twitter?
The good: he's very engaged.
The bad: he's very engaged.
The former: so far he has been great with the UMassTwitter community. Recent example: he accepted a Twitter offer to meet up with some students at Antonio's.

https://twitter.com/coachFMartin/status ... 0348985349
He didn't have to, and no one would/should have expected him to, but he did anyway.
The bad: he responds, way too often for my liking, to trolls. Sometimes he's not even tagged in a post. Example:
https://twitter.com/coachFMartin/status ... 8653919235
It's easier to take some time for social media in the off-season, and hopefully he'll reel it in when the pre-season really kicks into gear. But when we're coming off a bad loss, which is inevitable now and then, the talk could get nasty. Hell, there are even some UMass "fans" who have been known to tag coaches and take the low road.
He's been through all of it before, of course. SEC fans expect a lot from their sports programs and coaches. But I'd rather see less engagement from him with the trolls and detractors. It's a waste of time. Extremely unlikely that you're going to convert a troll into a rational person. Just don't respond. There's not much upside.

Frank isnt going to talk smack unless he is confident he is going to back it up on the court. He has me even more confident and excited about this team.

Speak softly and carry a big stick.
I'm with Mike on this. Engage with your fan base, the students, and the community in a positive way, but there's absolutely nothing to be gained by reacting to some of these knuckleheads on Twitter.

Re: Coach Frank Martin
Frank is a bit much in this regard, but I generally don't mind coaches being outspoken in social media and providing some pushback to the trolls. I wasn't a fan of the AD doing it, which I've stated before.

Interview with Marcus Camby on how he feels about the Martin hire. I like what I'm hearing.
