It's neither of those people. Riley Ubben is the guy for MBBInnervisionsUMASS wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 3:24 pmI'd suggest outreach to either of these folks:Floyd wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 3:19 pm Not sure where to put this request so I'll put it here. Just got home and watched the post game presser. Could someone tell whoever produces that to provide a mic for the people asking questions? It's like Charlie Brown's teacher, then the coach or players answering. Would help to hear the questions

I'm pretty sure he's the one in the room during the pressers.

Re: Coach Frank Martin
If you haven't already reached out, see Mike's post above this... might be better to reach out to the person he suggested.
Thanks for the clarity, Mike!

Re: Coach Frank Martin
Frank spoke at the Sports Luncheon today. He spent a fair amount of time talking about the stuff we have been hashing out for the last few weeks so I won't go into that. He did have 3 items I'll pass along:
1. As of noon, the report he had was that Matt has an MCL sprain, not a tear. Waiting for a full report from the MRI.
2. He was leaving for NYC to check on a 7'3 kid, who I think he said was playing against Dana Dingle's team. He'll get to talk to Dana.
3. Not optimistic on Noah coming back this year. Had another scan done on Saturday but no new info.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully Matt’s injury is a sprain not tear

Re: Coach Frank Martin
As far as I know Dana is affiliated with the NY Lightning AAU team, not with any HS or prep teams, and it's not AAU season yet, so I'm not quite sure what to make of this. What we could really use is Dana's son to transfer to UMass.
Re: Coach Frank Martin
You'd like Jordan to transfer out of the Wharton School his senior year?

If he has already graduated (which is possible after 3 years), why not? But I do agree that education comes first.SignMan wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 8:54 amYou'd like Jordan to transfer out of the Wharton School his senior year?

I believe he's a senior - Ivy league canceled the 20-21 season due to Covid - he started in 2019inthescoop wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 9:25 amIf he has already graduated (which is possible after 3 years), why not? But I do agree that education comes first.
Re: Coach Frank Martin
It's not entirely clear to me, but I think this is his 4th year at Penn (3rd season playing basketball), so he might not even have a choice and will have to transfer to somewhere else if he wants to continue playing college ball.inthescoop wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 9:25 amIf he has already graduated (which is possible after 3 years), why not? I'm sure it is no coincidence that FM specifically mentioned he is planning to speak to Dana Dingle, be it for next season or setting the stage for the following year. We can probably just leave it at that until there's legit news.
EDIT: Went back and looked at 69MG's post, and I'm not sure it is clear that FRANK said he would talk to DD, or if 69MG is supposing so. My bad if I read that wrong.

^ obviously a great school. Cousin of mine in the 80s, Globe all-scholastic/all-academic gridster, went there, Wharton & RB on two consecutive undefeated Penn football teams.
