Re: Coach Frank Martin
Maybe Frank should have stayed on the mound during the game. They could have used his arm.

Re: Coach Frank Martin
In the booth!!
Re: Coach Frank Martin
Man, if you're not excited to have Frank Martin get started coaching this program, I don't know what to say. Just watched him in the booth at Fenway and this guy just gets it and oozes confidence. I think we're in for a nice period of good basketball at the U.

Re: Coach Frank Martin
I'm guessing Luis
Re: Coach Frank Martin
I think you are probably correct. Just a hunch but it seems like the most probable outcome, based on 247 projections.
I'm going to try to dig up more information on him.

Re: Coach Frank Martin
Does anyone know where the interview with coach Martin from last night's Sox game can be found? He and Anya threw out really solid first pitches.

Re: Coach Frank Martin
^Awesome, thank you. I'm guessing that he and Dave O'Brien have some familiarity since O'Brien has called so many college basketball games for ESPN.
Re: Coach Frank Martin
^^
For sure, Frank called him OB which is Dave's nickname so there seemed to be a history between the two.

Doug Edwards has been added as director of player personnel.

You gotta love this guy. One hell of a player in his day for Florida State, and loved donuts so much while he was in the NBA that they gave him the nickname Doug Doughboy Edwards. Let's go UMass, let's eat! (literally and figuratively)

Youk loved him too. Frank is the man and he's genuinely enjoying the baystate UMass marketing tour.
