Every interview it’s 10% basketball 90% moving to Amherst his family etc. they just won a major tournament and Goodman wants to talk about anything but the games. We got a little bit at the end but I would have loved to hear more about gapare or Noah or the bigs etc instead of things that have been covered in almost every interview up to the start of the season.

Good interview but I think about done on these interviews about family etc it’s the season let’s talk basketball feel like the family bit has been talked about a lot
You better hope Vin Diesel doesn’t hear you are done with family…

Goodman sucks. I still do not know what qualifies him to be a "college basketball expert". He has covered CBB for a long time, but as far as I can tell he never played at any level beyond HS.

All he does is puff pieces and what if's...

No it isn’t! Joking about Vin’s character in fast and furious. Family is the reason for everything in those movies.

We all know by now that Frank isn't shy on twitter. I wonder if he lurks here, or has someone lurk for him. He was quick to defend starting his son a few weeks ago, and then after the Harvard game talked about Gapare and how he has a lot to learn and needs to grow in his role and also referenced the fans desire to see more PT from him and how that's just not how it works. Or he just sees all this on twitter as well and addresses it.

I lose sleep at night thinking about Frank Martin lurking. It's a scary thought, you gotta admit. :D

Well he can defend his son's playing time til hell freezes, but the numbers do not lie. Seventh in minutes played, twelth in both scoring (1.7ppq) and shooting percentage (.143) Brandon does get some rebounds, but his defense is not so great that it offsets his offensive liability. Why start games playing 4 on 5 offensively? I am not saying he should not play, just sparingly off the bench. And to those who say, yeah, but we are winning; I say, yes, but now is the time to learn how to win better. A10 games are hard to win coming back from down double digits.

Feels like as others progress Brandon will play fewer minutes....and I'm guessing that father and son have talked about that.

Gapare will get where FM wants him to be. Remember he was late to UMass and missed the preseason. Nothing wrong with letting things come together on their own. Thankfully the roster is deep enough to allow for that to happen.

Pretty sure Frank Martin wants to win even more than we want him to win. He isn't going to jeopardize the team on the account of nepotism.
