Coach will be at the B'ball hall of fame in Springfield tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1:00 for an interview and signing autographs. Maybe some intrepid board members could scoop some intel.

He got us excited about N'Guessan and that didn't work out. Now he's got me hyped up again.

I hope Frank realizes we get disappointed regularly in Amherst during the off-season period year after year.

Any word from Frank at the HoF yet???

I can only think of a few categories that would fall into "great news".

Recruiting - 2022 (Frank can't comment until the player has enrolled in school)
Recruiting - 2023 (Frank can't comment until the NLI is signed, and that's not until November)
Scheduling (Maybe has to wait until the contract is signed)
Staffing (Maybe has to wait until the background, check, etc. are done).

I'm hoping it's recruiting but I'm not sure it is. Usually the player will put something out on social media even if the college can't comment. So far, we haven't seen anything. Anybody else have some insight on this?

I was interested to read in the article Coach Martin's warm feelings for Bobby Huggins. I've seen him referred to as "Thuggins" around here. So I did some reading about Huggins, and didn't find as much dirt as I expected. The Wikipedia article only reveals that he got a DUI and was pushed out soon thereafter. There's this hagiography from Garry Parrish: https://www.cbssports.com/college-baske ... 800th-win/
So, maybe he is a good guy. Who knows?

My wife and I went to the Agawam event at The Hangar tonight. How can you pass up free Hangar wings? The whole staff was introduced with the exception of Will Bailey who is on a recruiting trip.

Now for the news we all want to know. Frank said this on the record:
The "Great News" is recruiting. We're looking at 2 players and if we get them both we will be really good.

Off the record, but still allowable to say:
1 is a freshman and 1 is a transfer. He couldn't say any more than that, but did say again to be patient.

That's all I've got, but Frank is a very down to earth person who loves to be out there with the fans.

"In Frank Martin we trust". He has cred and knows what he is doing, IMO.

Not sure if it's GG. That would be a coup beyond all expectations. But I don't know any more than anyone else - it's just a hunch. Whoever they are, Frank is excited about both of them.
