This is the least nervous I have been for a season in a long time. Nothing but confidence for Frank and company - let’s bring it on!

Re: 2022-23 roster
Jon Rothstein (https://twitter.com/JonRothstein) tweeted some as he visited UMass recently. He projects the starting 5 as Rahsool Diggins, Noah Fernandes, Matt Cross, Tafara Gapare, Wildens Leveque. Also said
-Matt Cross would be a 3, not a stretch 4
-Noah is expected to be fully cleared to practice by October (coming back from wrist surgery ~10 weeks ago)
-Wildens Leveque shooting 3s although he never even tried one in any S.Carolina game
-Rothstein was very impressed with RJ Luis.
That last one caught my attention as the only guard with experience besides Noah is TJ, and the others all seem like smaller point guards. But if Diggins is the likely starter and Luis is that impressive, it sounds like a team with no weak spot.

Re: 2022-23 roster
Biggest surprise for me is that he thinks that Gapare will be a starter - he must be that good. I mean he’s a late commit who reclassified that just joined the team and he’s already molded with the other players. That’s a really good sign!

I can't imagine Weeks won't see a lot of minutes and play a critical role.

Roster on the website is updated with Martin, Gapare and Cronin added. But, Kante is not there.

Re: 2022-23 roster
^ I noticed that as well. We'll be OK without Kante but we'd be better with him. His twitter account has nothing new and still has him joining UMass. Can't find anything on social media or anywhere else. I wonder if it's a problem with transfer credits or clearinghouse issues?

I believe there is a short clip on Twitter of Kante battling in the post with Woodley.
Sometimes people just don’t get to shit. That’s my theory.

Re: 2022-23 roster
Kante is very much on campus. The SID department at UMass is likley still short staffed and overwhelmed with fall sports and haven’t fully updated the roster

^ I like that explanation.
Re: 2022-23 roster
^^ I don't think that's the case. They updated it in the last 2 days with Gapare, Martin and Cronin. If all was well with Kante he would have been added along with the other 3.
