2022-23 roster
Re: 2022-23 roster
Can anyone identify the players? Most are not wearing their designated uniform numbers.

^ Anyone in particular you're curious about? I think I can identify all of them.
Re: 2022-23 roster
^ First, did you see Gapare and Kante?
The player (not Cross) wearing #33 who made a few dunks. I'm guessing Woodley. If it was him then he's got better hops than I was expecting and he doesn't look anywhere near 280 pounds.

That's Wildens Leveque. He got a lot of shine in that highlight (as did Cross). Diggins and TJ with a few highlights and one from DD as well.
Re: 2022-23 roster
^ I believe I saw Kante in there, I think I saw everyone except for Gapare.
Re: 2022-23 roster
^ Still no Gapare
Re: Mullins Madness 2022 event
I'll put this here for lack of a better place. Did anyone else go to the sports luncheon today? Frank was one of the speakers (Don Brown the other) and he had some interesting things to say. I don't remember them all but here are a few:
Woodley has left the team to work out some "personal issues". Not sure if he's coming back. My guess is NO.
Gapare is still in New Zealand due to Visa problems. Enrolled in school and taking classes on line. Hope to resolve it in a week or so.
(Side note joke from Frank - I have a friend in Mexico. We'll fly Gapare to Mexico, cross the border and get him on the next flight to Martha's Vineyard)
He was surprised at how skinny our guys were and putting on muscle is a high priority. So far he's happy with the results.
Dyondre has put on 20 lbs
Very impressed with Weeks
RJ Luis has been out with "pre shin splints"
Cross is one tough dude and he's given him more responsibility to play inside besides being able to shoot 3 pointers
There was a lot more of a philosophical nature that is too hard to explain. Anyone else have anything?

Woof regarding the Woodley and Gapare news. That blows.
Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades
Re: Mullins Madness 2022 event
Dyondre and/or Gianni are going to have to step up. Gonna be awhile before Gapare is caught up once he gets here.

Re: Mullins Madness 2022 event
Woodley put on his Instagram that gun shots were fired into the house of the mother of his kid where his kid lives as well no one was hurt but that’s a tough thing to deal with mentally. Would be great if he is able to rejoin
Re: 2022-23 roster
Also, thank you for posting that info 69
Re: Mullins Madness 2022 event
Didn't know this and obviously Frank did not go into detail about why Woodley needed time. This does give me hope that he will return once he feels comfortable that the situation at home is under control.UMassfan_19 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 12, 2022 3:28 pm Woodley put on his Instagram that gun shots were fired into the house of the mother of his kid where his kid lives as well no one was hurt but that’s a tough thing to deal with mentally. Re: 2022-23 roster
Glad to hear no one was hurt in the Woodley situation. Hopefully he gets everything settled and is back soon. As for Gaspare, if he gets here in a week or so that should give him a little time before the season starts. Its not ideal but I have a feeling it was going to take him a little time to get used to the big step up in competition anyway.
