What do you have against Ducks?
Re: NCAA Tournament - 2022
The movie, Unforgiven; Gene Hackman as Little Bill Daggett thought Duke was pronounced duck, and he didn't care much for The Duke of Death, English Bob. I do not like Duke, I like ducks.

When's the last time we had a Roy Williams situation like this year...a retired coach who coached both NCAA finalists
I'm guessing he's for the Tar Heels, alum and former coach vs. former coach.

Hubert Davis got them there, but there has to be some concern about the epic collapses against both Baylor and Kansas. Not a bad problem to have, but, damn, I’m guessing those will be under the microscope by UNC fans.

Did anyone tune in to the Twitter Spaces last night with Jay Burnham and Frank Martin during the title game? How was that event, and were there any interesting discussion points?

Re: NCAA Tournament - 2022
Great game last night. Thought UNC was going to run away with it but Kansas never quit. Certainly have to wonder about Davis' decision to not call a TO when they were coming down at the end. Even then, they had another chance. Crazy game, exciting finish, and once again a review that took waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long.
Juice - the Spaces was fun to listen to. There wasn't as much of them watching and commenting on the game as I thought there would be, which ended up being ok... we heard a lot from Frank, got to hear from the two new assistants for the first time, and Ricky as well. The only notable tid-bit was that it looks like they are going to bring back some form of Midnight Madness.Juice Stand wrote: ↑Tue Apr 05, 2022 5:42 am Did anyone tune in to the Twitter Spaces last night with Jay Burnham and Frank Martin during the title game? ^Thanks, good stuff. I wanted to check in to both the spaces and the game, but man, a 9:20 start is rough. That game should have started no later than 8:30.

Yep, that game didn't end until about 11:40 Eastern. It's just stupid. I totally understand not wanting to start the NC game while Pacific time zone folks are still at work, but there's got to be a better balance here.
