Team seems to have something to prove once McCall was let go. Very good win. I think we might win again tomorrow.

As long as we have a few guys consistently hitting threes we have a shot, but although we scored 99, we also gave up 88 to GW. If we don't shoot well, the D will really have to be exceptional to beat Dayton.

Team, as well as McCall, look much looser. Let it rip, nothing to lose now

Great team win, with only 7 guys playing and all 7 played very well, led of course by Noah who was fantastic. Took Coach McCall 5 years to win an A10 tourney game where the opponent didn't come in from a Wednesday night games as happened last year.
Add GW to the list of A10 teams we split with this year. No team has beaten UMass twice. Let's see that continue!

I like the possibility of knocking Dayton out of both tournaments.

Any win over GW is a good one but this one is especially sweet. 8)

First 16 rebound game since Cady Lalanne did it against LaSalle in 2015.

We have now won 3 in a row over teams that beat us the first time we played them. Maybe it's to be expected with a 20 point lead with 7:20 left but we got lazy and sloppy after that. We will need to play much better than this to beat Dayton.

I'm thrilled with the win and the fact that all 7 guys had a role in it. Any word on Steadman from the radio side? I didn't catch anything on the TV side?
I'd like to see all hands on deck for Dayton. They embarrassed us in the 1st half of the earlier game.

Watching the team tonight, I felt like McCall did a great job putting the roster together. Not many teams in the a10 can have a key like Rich Kelly to take the pressure off the starting PG and ball handler. Three pretty good big men. Other offensive threats in CJ Kelly and TJ Weeks. He just couldn't get them to play their best and play as a team consistently. Yeah, I would have liked to have seen Steadman on the floor. He maybe could have contained their big man a little better.

In the building … there was never a doubt. Team seems locked in. Can’t wait fir tomorrow. This team wants to win fir Matt. I’m good with that. Guy is relaxed and coaching his best basketball yet.

Hitting 3s and pounding the offensive boards is a winning formula. Let’s keep it rolling.

Was last night the best they played wire-to-wire all season? Other than 2 minutes or so late in the 2nd, they were rather unstoppable all game. It was great to see, even if there is still this weird feeling watching them with a lame duck coach. They clearly are playing hard and seem dialed in right now.

There have been very few times this year where this team hasn't shown hustle on the court... last night was the best example of it. Guys like Noah (obviously... that sequence off the GW inbound was ridiculous), R Kelly, CJ and JG were all over the court and floor.

Was Steadman hurt or was that a matchup issue?

Team of Destiny here... time to take another step tonight.

Really wish we had Greg Jones another year. He was somewhat tentative earlier in the year, but with more pt he has been pretty good. Good on the boards, has shown he can hit occasional threes, and last night attacked the basket offensively very well. Didn't always finish but the play was there. Love his hustle and you pretty much see the same effort every game. No ego, tough kid. Is he def done or does he get a covid year back?

Was bummed they didn't hit 100. It looked like McCall wanted them to go for it but I could have been reading his reaction wrong.

They can score with anyone so anything is possible. +10 vs Dayton today so not much love from yesterdays win.
