Nice to see them tough out a road win. Loved the toughness of Greg Jones, Noah and Rich also with big games.

So who we get, GW in tourney?

Great to beat a George on the road.

Yes, GW. Noah wasn't himself last time they met, but sure was today. Good win as MM pushes the right buttons now that he's out. Very strange. I thought they needed size vs Oruro, but using Greg Jones was smart.

Doing what they haven't done over they years...beat Mason, and on the road no less. 2-0 since the firing was announced. Go Figure....

What's next a run through the A-10 tourney?

What would RB do if that happened?

I was thinking that today too. I don't think it will happen. Would make up for a painful year and Bam Bam sure would have some 'splainin' to do...

Even winning 2 games in the A10 tourney and getting to the semifinals it would be quite an intriguing story. I'm sure it would get national attention at that point. Would be a good problem to have.

It shows that McCall wasn't able to get his players to do their best. Carl Pierre's 3pt shooting at Rice is an example. You can explain it by who else was/is on his team, but the fact is he can shoot 40% from three, and a good coach will put him in position to do that, both mentally and strategically.

Eh... getting to the semifinals in the A10 tourney I would say is not national attention worthy - UMass making the semifinals would not be a headline on the west coast.

Don’t be surprised if bamford asks McCall to leave before the a10 tourney. Bamford cannot have his lame duck coach make a run. Not saying it will happen…

Amazing, I'm impressed. The results haven't been there all year, but these guys have not quit on each other or on McCall. The video of them dancing in the locker room after the game is fantastic. Although massively disappointed that he's losing his job, McCall must feel relieved now that he knows his fate. Playing and coaching fast and loose. Good for them.

Since starting A10 play 0-4, they've finished 7-7 over the final 14 games, which isn't anything to write home about, but certainly respectable. This team has felt dead for a while, but the reality is they've played .500 ball for the last month and a half. Go get GW in DC.

Super impressed by Noah last night, we saw that flare from him that he showed at the beginning of the season. Finished with a career high of 28 and he could have finished with 30+ points but he made the smart plays down the stretch - passing the ball off as he was about to get fouled to take more time off the clock, a true PG and leader who I really hope stays with the new coach.

Is there something about TJ ‘s game that McCall doesn’t like ?? He sits him at times that it appears to me that we need his scoring !

That .500 record includes losses to lower teams like Fordham, etc.
