Add last night to our deteriorating shooting. Eight of the last ten games we have shot threes below our season average with the 32% performance last night.
*pulled from the Dayton thread.

And another one as we shot a putrid 15.8% from three last night. There is a misconception that we are a good shooting team, and it's just not true anymore. We're not even shooting well at home, as three of our last four home games have been under 30%. Our 3-pt percentage continues to fall, now down to 37.2% on the season.
Just to put it in perspective, we're still the 5th best 3-pt shooting team in UMass history, but it has been dropping recently.
Just curious, but which teams are ranked in the top four (or even the top ten or more if you got the data)

We are quickly tumbling down that list. Just a couple weeks ago this team would have been 3rd, shooting over 40% and are now 7th after another dismal performance, at 37.5%.

I think that he is asking, who are the other Nationally ranked teams ahead of UMass in 3 point percentages? Or, if you have the data, who are the teams in the top 10? I think that it would be interesting to understand what their overall record / success has been.
Save your breath... you'll need it to blow up your date

UMass is currently 29th nationally in 3-pt percentage: https://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketball-m ... t/team/152. Going into the Dayton game last Wednesday, we ranked 7th nationally.

I guess it just goes to show that statistics do lie.

Statistics are statistics. We put value on them when we attach them to expectations. Like, being a good 3-pt shooting team means you'll win a lot of games.

Are week talking 40% every game several at 45, 50, 55 and a bunch at 25 or less.
