Honestly len, I didn't. I know he left UMass in a rather messed up way, but I can't begrudge a guy for taking an insane offer that was thrown at him.
I loved how his teams played here, loved how prepared and in shape they were, and that NIT run was great. Gary Forbes, James Jimmy Life, CLowe, Ricky was a fun team to watch

TF was/is a nice guy and he and his wife loved Amherst. It was just a stupid offer by OK State that no one in their right mind would have turned down

Perhaps I’m being a bit optimistic but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a “yes” but Bamford is being very guarded on announcing any agreement until there’s pen on paper. Memories of the Pat Kelsey presser are seared into his mind no doubt.
