excellent and desperately needed first win. over the years, I thought SLU often had excessive physical play and got away with fouls. tonight those fouls were called and UMass converted (not 90% like SLU hit their FTs, but very good, especially when it counted most). last year ended with Collins outplaying Noah, a big part of blowing UMass out of the A10 tourney. that was very dramatically turned around tonight. Also great to see Javohn come up big, and TJ not having a great scoring game but with a block(!) for the biggest play of the game.
The loyal few fans that showed up deserve something to smile about.
