St. Pete Weekend Tourney

Post by diplomat » Fri Oct 22, 2021 7:23 am

I live in West Palm and meeting some friends in St Pete for the games. Anyone else going? Any suggestions about a nice place to stay would be appreciated. Any good fishing charters or anything to do there?

I kept asking Jersey Mike's on Twitter if they'd have any watchable coverage. They replied and said CBS Sports Network, which is a pleasant surprise, on the border of unbelievable.

Was expecting to get hosed by FloSports, or nothing at all.

Minimum expectation for this weekend is to get 2 wins. This should be a good test for the team, with 3 games in 4 days against decent competition. All winnable games, but I don’t see a cakewalk (maybe Ball St).

Wow this gym is tiny. I didn't realize this was being hosted by a D2 school.

I've said before that this would be our toughest game. I would have been thrilled with 3-0 but I'll be fine with 2-1. Buckle down and play some defense. I hope Steadman can play. He's our only true rim protector.
