Few more Ivy League grad transfers have gone portaling today, source told @TheFieldOf68:
Columbia: G Zavian McLean (8.9 ppg) and F Josh Odunowo (8.0 ppg)
Harvard: F Justice Ajogbor (8.4 ppg, 6.5 rpg)
I would like to see if we can land Ajogbar. 6'10, 255 and averaged 2.9 blocks per game. Had 8 boards and 3 blocks against us this year.
He doesn't have the offensive ability that Martin seemed to covet and get with Cohen. He'd be a great backup big for sure, but I'm not going to hold my breath on this one.

^ Pretty much anyone we get is going to be a backup to Josh (Edey and Mitchell aren't walking through that door :D ) so I'm all for getting the rim protector that Frank says we need. If we want to play big next year, we can play Josh, DHG and Matt up front as long as we have 1 or 2 reserves that don't hurt us when they are in there. This guy fits that.

Of course, this is all speculation since we have no idea who will be back next year.

^ Centers are just so hard to get. I don't think dropping a bunch of NIL $ on a backup center is a good use of funds, but without that it's hard to see a team like UMass getting a center of his caliber just to come in and be a backup. Just remember Wildens, and how we lost him, and this guy is probably a better player.

Centers are very hard to get and they might not stay long if they don't suck.

It's brutal and full of landmines. We know for sure over past thirty years.

Frank seems to keep it competitive. He is offering bigs. Just like Matthews, I think coach was MM, you take a chance accepting as a big.

I love Majok and hope he comes back. However, he could be good in the NEC and it would be crazy for him not to get an education and chance at NCAA tournament by going to CCSU, I'd love him back, but he needs a year and has competition.

If we lose impact players, Frank will respond accordingly. He is Frank Martin.

We have Mason in the fold and Damjanac coming. If Cohen stays another year (PLEEEAAASSSEEE!!!) we will have a lot of size.

Lots of names already in the portal. It's not worth going crazy and naming a bunch of guys when we have no idea if we have any interest. So I'll just point out 1 kid, maybe because he's from Florida and we know Frank likes kids from Florida. He entered the portal today.

Might as well put portal players we should look at here. I wonder what it would take to get this kid (if he's Frank's type of player)?
Drexel senior and 3-time CAA Defensive Player of The Year Amari Williams has officially entered the transfer portal.
The 6’10” forward started 32/32 games averaging 12.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.8 blocks.

With Cohen and Davis Jr. in the transfer portal (and who knows who is next), we now have the scholarship spots for the newly committed players.

Cj Luster
@CJLuster3
Blessed to receive a D1 offer from the University of Massachusetts
Salt Lake Community College (Juco), which is a different approach for Frank. He's a 6'4 guard. This year he took 213 threes and made 102, that's 48%. Also shot 88% from the line. He only played 23 minutes a game because his team went 30-3 and the coach went 11 deep. He's originally from Texas. Seems like Frank is looking for Robert's replacement.

Go get him. Looks more composed than just about any freshman we are likely to get.

Nate G sounds like a kid I'm gonna like. Get this Luster kid to compliment Rahsool and if the rest stay, our guards/ wings look pretty good.

Frank will find a big guy (or 2)

I watched CJ's highlights, and they are mostly from his 1 year at Kilgore College in TX. So I looked up his stats from Kilgore. He shot 40% from 3 and 90% from the line. That's a pretty good 2-year stretch. I say let's show him some love and go after him.
