Makes you wonder if he is involved

Wouldn't surprise me if he is mentoring these guys to explore options just to screw Bamford

^ Burning bridges for the sake of burning bridges is going to end his college coaching career. More likely he's using them to get himself an angle at a better job. And I intentionally say using them.

Well the spin would be he is helping these guys with their careers... the screwing of Bamford would just be a side effect

Respectively disagree. If a school sees a chance to win with him as a coach they could care less about any bridges he has burned. Being a good person has never been a prerequisite of a D1 basketball coach.

Be interesting to see if he and Tre end up as a package deal somewhere

Really kinda sucks. He would have been a key player moving forward. The player movement in this program is becoming a concern. Crazy roster instability

Even if we lose another player which is likley this will be a relatively stable offseason. Only 3 transfers plus 2 graduations

Yeah I guess compared to the past couple seasons. But the loses are big. Who's the 3rd transfer? Tre, Ronnie, and ?

Carl and Gasperini are the grads, correct? Or are you counting Carl as a transfer?

The last of the Bergeron recruits with no real ties to the region. Garcia

Wouldn’t surprise me. Would suck but I think the two Kelly’s cover him. I don’t see a replacement for degray.

One thing that's for sure... this will bring in a new player, a new opportunity for McCall and for once in his career at UMass, I can say that he's in a good flow and has been hot on the recruiting trail on his own. This is the year to take advantage of transfers.

UMass coaches, take a look at the list, and reach out to anyone who is a fit, plain and simple. Would love for the team to look into someone like Bryson Williams, Collin Smith, Marvin Johnson, Teddy Allen, or Jaylen Butz.
