2021-2022 Season
Re: 2021-2022 Season
^ Senior night will be strange for sure. We don't have any home grown seniors but a bunch of 1 year seniors.

I actually think the transfers have been pretty good this year. Rich Kelly has been a great shooter for us, Trent has improved in conference play, and Greg Jones, come on, who doesn't love Greg Jones? CJ's been up and down, and Steadman has improved, but overall I think the transfers this year have been better than the group in McCall's second season.

The point was that it takes a bit of time to gel and develop these guys together, but when they're here a year then gone, it makes it tough to improve together. The consistency with playing together a while is missing

Do grad transfers impact the APR if they decide not to finish the semester after the season is over?

Well, Greg participated in Senior Day, and today we learned that he is applying to the NCAA for a waiver to play next year.
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."

Great! I hope he can come back! He was a great pick-up, how did we find him?

I hope so too. However, one guy tweeted that he saw it on Greg's Instagram page but nobody else has been able to confirm this. Has anyone else seen it?

Oh, sorry. The University of Massachusetts Men's Basketball team is 3-9. There, feel better now?

There's a Rhody video pod out there and a recent episode has Tyson Wheeler, one of our big threats in the late 90s, and our assistant coach the last three years. Some UMass bits mixed throughout.
