Maybe... but it's the highway billboards that I want to see again. Those fans... whoa.

longer list of potential coaches for Fordham (on ESPN+ I think) also had Tony Barbee, although he was not high on the list.

Looks like Fordham is finally doing it right. That is a solid final 3 right there. To me, Brasso is a no brainer for Fordham, he would make that school relevant for the first time since I can remember, and could in the long run, become a Fordham legend. Pat Chambers has the experience, and is the most ready, he comes with some baggage and would be a controversial choice after he made racist noose comments to past players, and let me tell you, locals from Bronx, Queens, will not take his shit. That will either be a huge hit or miss. Shaheen Holloway would be the most player friendly coach, but I think the other 2 options are better.

I mean, it’s still Fordham, almost impossible to do anything with that program. They’ll always be a basement dwellar.

A school located in NYC and it's impossible to do anything with that program. HAH! Jeff Neubauer was an absolutely horrific hire from the very beginning.

I think, long term, Ward is a better prospect. VCU is a good spot for him, and I hope he stays there and keeps developing the way he has, but there isn’t a coach in the country that wouldn’t want him and his talent after watching him on tape...the no sit out transfer rule will make situations like this interesting.
NBADraft.net 2022 Mock Draft currently has Hason Ward as a projected FIRST ROUND PICK. Good call here OFFSeason, it's a shame that UMass couldn't grab a local Springfield guy that had this much potential right in front of the coaching staff.

Osun Osunniyi from the Bonnies is projected to be a 2nd rounder.

Nice find, I never really check those mock drafts so I wouldn’t have seen that.
If he continues to develop the way he has the last 2 years I don’t think that is out of reach for him.
I believe I mentioned this before but in December of his senior year I was told by a reliable source that he would be committing to UMass by January...never really found out what happened from there.

^ Isn't that right around the time that McCall replaced his entire staff? Maybe the change in plans for Ward had something to do with that?

Too bad, Mitchell & Ward would complement each other very well.

Fordham has stunk for as long as we can all remember. Does it really matter that they are located in the Bronx?

Richmond just lost by one point on a 3-pointer with 3 seconds left against Mississippi State in the NIT. Tough loss. They missed a free throw just seconds before.

Can anybody offer a refresher on Baldwin's time here? I remember he came in for DK's last year, and then stuck around for McCall's first season. He only played 21 games that second season, none after Jan. 24. A Springfield kid with toughness and experience, sure I'd welcome him back unless there was some bad blood at the end of that second season.
