Looks like he has a brand new Twitter, but he posted with a note as he hits the Portal:

He would be awesome in NEC or AE. Probably will grab a higher conference, I think.

Liked JG. Tools were there, but didn't think MM developed him much at all. Wouldn't be surprised to see him make a good jump in production with a new coach, wish it was here. Wouldn't surprise me to see him at Dayton

I wonder if he returns to his home state and lands at a MAC school

I bet a lot of Ohio schools will be looking at him: Ohio, Miami, Youngstown, Kent State, Cleveland State. Really doubt Ohio State, but the rest are in play for him in Ohio.

Really wish JG would stick around. I think he would develop well under coach Martin. He's long, quick, can get to the rim, and plays D. Has a few years to play still, and I think his potential hasn't really even been tapped yet. Besides the physical aspects of the game, I think coach can get these kids mentally dialed in as well, and I think JG could really be an exceptional player in this league. If I was there, I'd want to play for a coach who can teach and push me to maximize my skills. From what we hear about Frank Martin, he cares about his kids too, so I'm surprised JG is looking to move on

Anyone know what the deal is with JG? Doesn't show up in the Massachusetts transfer portal. Maybe I'm looking in wrong place

^ Don't look at 247, this is the official NCAA one! He's # 186!

on3 is a recruiting service as 247 is, neither are "official NCAA" anything

No updates on him on 247Sports. I wonder what he's going to do next year.

Javohn is going the JUCO route (seems like academics were his issue). Committed to the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California.

Best of luck! We can potentially see a nice turn around from him, as we did from Sean East when he chose the Juco route.

College of the Sequoias is in the JuCo association as City College of San Francisco, where Michael Steadman played his first two seasons.

Yeah, McCall flat out said academics were the reason JG wasn't getting time in the fall. Hopefully he can get the grades in order and get back to D1.

That's great! Good for him! Wonder where he's headed next?
