I don't suppose the NCAA works past 4:00 (if they work at all) so another day without an answer. Only 1 day left for us to get a holiday (Christmas, Channukah, Kwanza) present. # FREE DIBAJI

^ I'm guessing that "NCAA" and "work" and "day before holiday" are all mutually exclusive terms.

this is nuts. does anyone know how many other players are still in ncaa transfer eligibility limbo?

My guess is they really don't want to grant these waivers to cut down on player transfers. If they make it more difficult they probably think it will deter kids, but I doubt it will. There should be specific deadlines on decisions tho

If I worked for the UMass AD, I'd call anyone I could in the NCAA every single damn day until this got resolved. Absolutely inexcusable at this point. Apparently they're taking the "let's not push too much because it might piss off the NCAA" approach, but that's been a horrible failure. It's time for Bamford to start making calls, knocking on doors, and getting some answers for HIS student athlete; Dibaji has already lost a full semester of eligibility. Get a yes, get a no, whatever, just get it figured out and get this kid out of limbo.

I'm thrilled he's here but I'm telling myself to temper expectations for at least a couple of games. I wish he would have been cleared for the Maine game. He would have gotten 20-25 minutes.
