Re: 2022 Recruiting
If Isaac does come though that could solidify a pretty good frontcourt. Much better than we've probably have had in a long time

Re: 2022 Recruiting
Gapare and Kante are totally different skill sets. Kante is a 5 and Gapare is a tall stretch 4. Watch some film on each. They actually complement each other nicely.

Re: 2022 Recruiting
Skizz, how could you think that? Minutes will be tricky, but Frank won't redshirt Gapare.
Re: 2022 Recruiting
Gapare is a good ball handling forward. He was a point center in NZ. Probably our 4th option at point right now.

Re: 2022 Recruiting
Here are a couple lines from the last 2 years (Hofstra/LIU) against some A10 comp, UConn, and Rutgers:
20/21
Rutgers - 7 pts & 17 boards
Bonnies - 15 pts & 13 boards
Richmond - 16 pts & 11 boards
21/22
UConn - 17 pts & 9 boards
Fordham - 16 pts & 7 boards
This isn't just some end of the bench frontcourt back-up. Isacc should solidify a pretty talented frontcourt. Like what was just said.. he's more of a 5. Elbow jumpers and post moves. He can obviously rebound better than anyone at UMass in a long time.

Re: 2022 Recruiting
Sounds like a good piece with a little more offensive skill than our current bigs and can hit the boards some. No idea about how defense, but sounds like he can help.
Also maybe folks will stop fretting so much about frontcourt depth now.

Jackson, I don't know if I'm fretting about anything right now. It seems like only good news out of UMass lately. I haven't been this excited for a season in quite some time.

Re: 2022 Recruiting
So is Kante a redshirt sophomore with the Hofstra-covid year not counting?
