We could really use a big fish.
Some major holes are filled and depth is vastly improved.
Backcourt was strong and is stronger now.
Need a really solid big who can give lots of minutes and can shoot.
We have 2 bigs in Levesque and Woodley. A wing who can shoot like Cross would be a good addition. I know Martin doesn’t really run guys but we could benefit if a guy or 2 was run to bring in some more depth at the 4 and 5 spots
Woody and Wildens foul a lot, so does Dibaji. DD is a turnstile. We need another big. Trust me... Has to be able to play PF (4). Wildens is our only true big.
I agree on Cross. Big enough and can shoot. I'd like Skogman from Buffalo. The two twins would be a good fit too, but someone would have to leave the team.

The twins are tall but are not inside players from what I've read.

Old friend Matt Cross reportedly on campus today for a visit. He was very highly rated out of Brewster Academy

With all due respect, I trust Frank Martin more than I trust you to determine what combination of players he needs.

One is more down low the other is more of a wing in the mold of Dibaji

10 times out of 10 anytime someone prefaces a statement with a phrase like “with all due respect” some sort of comment that has an asshole-ish feel to it is sure to follow.

That should go without saying, for both of us, literally. But here we are saying it because you like to find fault with posts.

Might be a good opportunity to get a young big guy who Frank can develop for down the road. I would imagine WL, Dibaji, and Woodley would get the bulk of the minutes, so maybe a good opportunity to work with a young guy. Don't see many true freshman anymore
Hope to see Cairo on the floor next season. Love the kids toughness, and I think he's got a better offensive game than we've seen. Working with a good staff will help these kids immensely

Yeah, Cairo has 4 years of eligibility left. He's already experienced the speed of the game and is a fantastic athlete when healthy.
I don't remember the details of his injury but I think he could be attractive to a lot of schools. He'll have to really earn minutes here but I wouldn't put it past him.
Wish we knew where else Cross is visiting. He's most likely to start here.
Any news on the twins?

It just dawned on me that Cross has already transferred once. Wouldn't he have to sit out a year on his 2nd transfer?

I loved Cairo's game when he got real minutes during the covid season. Think he is a versatile defender with offensive potential that can be really good under Frank.

I mean, I don't think I've ever posted an opinion on here and then said "Trust me".

I believe you don't need to sit a year if you transfer because the coach was fired.
