KAEO: TJ Weeks
Re: KAEO: TJ Weeks
I wonder how the cancellation of the A-10 tourney will affect TJ Weeks when he goes to apply for a medical redshirt for this year.

^ Not sure why it would make a difference.
Re: KAEO: TJ Weeks
^ The medical redshirt exemption says that the player cannot play in more than 20 % of the games, and TJ played in 10 of our 31. We would have needed to win out or somehow play a tournament game somewhere for it to matter. By the letter of the rule, he is not eligible.
I do remember MM saying that he was confident that TJ would get the exemption.

^ They're giving exemptions for Spring sports, but unlikely they'll do anything for winter sports.
As for TJ, I doubt this affects him, they'll give him the year back.

Re: KAEO: TJ Weeks
If I was Dibaji Walker, I’d try to get another year. He played less than half a season and lost out on postseason play.
Re: KAEO: TJ Weeks
^ I doubt if Dibaji gets anything. They already ruled on the first part and postseason could've only been 1 more game if we lost. Plus it'll take forever

Well, friends, you can all calculate for yourselves whether TJ qualifies for the medical redshirt. Just fill out this handy dandy worksheet from the NCAA

I don't have the patience right now to fill out that pdf but, in looking at it, I am doubtful he will get a waiver. He played in ten games and the scrimmages ( if I remember correctly) and they appear to count against him. I hope I am wrong.
Anyone want to take a stab at it?
