Good luck to Tre, but he's playing for one of the all-time douches of college hoops.

Screw him for wanting to exclude the teams who make the tourney what it is:

Will enjoy watching them go down in the 1st round of the NCAAs next year.

Interesting that his mother’s home has been wherever he has been……
He is from Pittsburgh and I think his mom and Tony moved back there after their UMass failure. I seem to recall Tony was coaching HS basketball in the Pittsburgh area after leaving Amherst.

Yes, this past season he was the head coach for First Love Christian Academy, southwest of Pittsburgh

Their website game is . . . lacking

I wonder how long Tre’s mom will be able to hold off before she starts giving Huggins coaching advice?

This is eventually going to happen so we need to do whatever we can to be a part of that. Best option is to get bid from Big East

I can't wait until Tre is playing professionally overseas so we can stop talking about him!

He will continue to falter in the Big 12. Huggins, who is shady at best, likes tough defense and strong rebounding. Something that Trey is not strong in. I’m sure Huggins is pretty desperate after the terrible year he had last season.

Took the words out of my mouth, brother.

Maybe this is what Tre needs. Can he handle another year of being chewed out and not coddled?

He wants to play at the highest level. Well, he has to step up.

Success requires working on your weaknesses, not just playing to his strengths.

Mom can cry that he needs to be fed the balk all she wants. If he can't do it on both ends, he won't cut it at the P5 level and he will end up playing in Argentina, Canada, or England.

If he wanted fame for being a dominant ine-way player, he should have stayed at UMass under MM and earned himself a statue. He blew it.

There is no molly-coddle coach in Amherst desperate for a kid with game anymore. We have a real coach pulling in a lineup full of 4 star talent.

Tre had 5 star offense and 2 star defense and toughness. There are lots of them in P5 conferences.

Too bad the people guiding him let him down. There was a reason he slipped to upper mid-major. We bent over backwards for him, hired his step-dad and recruited his buddies. He turned his back on us and them.

Not fit for the NBA! Maybe if he stayed and worked in his deficiencies, but he thought he was too good for that, I guess.

Hey, Camby came here with serious deficiencies, he buckled down and made himself an NBA talent in 3 years. He bought in. He was all about the team and the University. Tre was about himself, even with a team full of his former teammates. He burned bridges.

I don't think Coach Jack, number 32, or any of his teammates would have appreciated Tre not getting back on D. They won games with defense, hustle, and tenacity. Unfortunately, I see these traits currently lacking in Tre. Maybe Huggins will turn him around.
